In 1994, I established Aero Illustrations to provide quality technical illustrations and diagrams for the manufacturing, design and publishing industries.
Originally trained as an industrial designer, I worked in design consultancies for 10 years before specialising in technical illustration. During this time I gained a solid background in mechanics and basic engineering, and developed a keen understanding of all aspects of design. I’ve since further developed my artistic skills and my digital illustration style has evolved. My technical aptitude and background in industrial design allows me to bring together art and science when I produce an illustration.
Since my early childhood I have had a passion for aeroplanes and a curiosity for how their design has developed over time. Over the years I have been privileged to be able to share my enthusiasm by participating in the restoration of the Australian War Memorial’s DH9, contributing to historical aviation societies and illustrating various publications including over 45 books.
